WHAT IS SACRIFICE AT THE BORDER ABOUT?

Everyone says Yoali's toddler Elisito, is dead, drowned as she crossed the big river into El Norte. But she doesn´t believe it. She just knows he's alive, and will do all in her power to find him.

Family, friends, and Frank, the policeman who falls in love with Yoali will help her to search for her lost child.  So will unlikely strangers who decide to rescue Elisito from a terrible fate. The action takes us across the border and far south, with Yoali and Frank hot on the heels of La Coyote and El Gato, a couple of traffickers with a heart.

When Yoali and Frank discover who has taken Elisito, they set off on a motorcycle after La Coyote and El Gato. Frank and Yoali are soon joined by the Osos, a family of bikers who say they know the safest routes through drug infested territory.

But there is no safe passage. Yoali and Frank encounter danger, corruption, and deadly violence. They must fight to survive.  And they must face their own inner turmoil in order to find each other.

As the plot moves forward, by chance or perhaps destiny, all parties good and evil, converge on Yoali's home town of Quesería.  There, Yoali´s family and her community will play a critical role in saving Elisito from the worst of fates.
